ANADOREI (穴奴隷) With a bold name like Anadorei, which translates to ‘Hole Slave’, this gives you advance warning of what to expect but it still won’t prepare your ears. Their music is a full on sexually-charged deranged assault, littered with walls of feedback. The all-female trio (“Chainsaw guitar and throat” Erieza Royal, “Bulldozer Bass” Maymie Royal and “Machinegun Drum” Gabriella Royal) from Japan made raw and abrasive punk noise-rock but unfortunately disbanded in 2004. They were criticised by Japan Times as being too glamorous for the noise scene but too noisy for the garage rock scene.They also had a reputation of playing risqué shows which involved them playing semi naked and with a strap-on dildo amongst other gimmicks. HIGH TENSION

Intense post-hardcore with distinctive sounding screeched vocals melded with dark and heavy melodies.
High Tension are based in Melbourne, Australia and feature ex members of Young & Restless (Karina Utomo - vocals, Ashley Pegram - guitar), The Nation Blue (Matt Weston - bass), and Love Like Electrocution & Heirs (Damian Coward - drums).

THE GODDAMN DELUGE

Excellent and underrated obscure dual female and male vocal lead screamo from Gainesville, FL. They put out their first and only release through Hotsauce Records in 2001 which was a self-titled 7”.

There is not much information about this band but it is known that the four members (Liza Kate, Kevin Nowak, Micah Daw and Jeremy Scott) pursued other endeavours. Liza began a solo acoustic project: Liza Kate and Kevin joined an experimental band called Liquid Limbs.
